In a major step towards Pakistan’s defensive self-reliance, Vanguard International announced to establish Pakistan’s first state-of-the-art bulletproof glass factory in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to details, a delegation of Vanguard Group held a detailed meeting with officials of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and announced the decision.

The factory will be established in Industrial Park of Port Mohammad Bin Qasim in Karachi with an estimated cost of Rs50 million.

The project will play a vital role in fulfilling the needs of Pakistan’s armed forces. The project will also employ 400 skilled people and save foreign exchange.

By combining advanced international technology, specialized manufacturing expertise, and Pakistani engineering talent, the facility will produce transparent armour for military, law-enforcement, and security applications.
