KARACHI: SI Global Solutions (Pvt) Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Jovision Technology Co Ltd, a Jinan based global leader in intelligent video surveillance, to advance Safe City and maritime security infrastructure across Pakistan, according to a statement on Saturday.

SI Global Solutions, a maritime solutions provider and ICT system integrator with offices in the USA, UAE, Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, will act as Jovision’s exclusive partner in Pakistan under the MoU. The collaboration will focus on intelligent CCTV systems, cloud based video analytics, full colour night vision and integrated command and control platforms for AI driven Safe City projects.

The partnership also extends to the maritime domain. SI Global Solutions has procured advanced polyurethane buoys from China for deployment at Pakistani ports, becoming the first company to introduce such buoys in the country. The buoys offer low maintenance, extended service life and stronger resistance to harsh sea and weather conditions.

A delegation of Safe City and maritime experts from SI Global Solutions, led by Commander (r) Liaquat Ali PN, recently visited China, where technical discussions and product demonstrations paved the way for the MoU and for sourcing IALA compliant marine equipment.
